Grand Navratri: From very first day itself Garba lovers made a splash!

On the very first day itself, 7000 to 8000 people registered their presence and danced fiercely.

Garba players have made a splash in Lotus Navratri 2022 organized by former Member of Legislative Assembly in Maharashtra Narendra Mehta. Navratri festival which has started from Monday is being celebrated with great enthusiasm all over the country. In Mira Bhayander, the city’s biggest Navratri i.e. Lotus Navratri has given a better option than Mumbai for Garba lovers. Packed with celebrities, from all corners of the society, a ground looks sea of people. Everyday, one superstar from Bollywood will make their presence felt in this grand event.

It is often seen that a large number of people do not participate in Garba in the first two days. However, here at the Lotus Navratri the situation is different. On the very first day itself, 7000 to 8000 people registered their presence and danced fiercely. On this, Narendra Mehta, who looks very enthusiastic said, “Garba lovers were sitting at their homes with heavy hearts for two years due to the pandemic. Now, there are so many people you can see here. It’s seems that these ten days are only for these Garba lovers”.

Former Deputy Mayor Hasmukh Gehlot, who is supervises the program, is engaged in making the event a grand success with his service. While discussing with him about the same, he said, “This city is our family, we try to return the love that this city gives us. We are just working with the spirit of ‘Tera Tujhko Arpan’.

Former BJP spokesperson and youth leader Ranveer Bajpai is also associated with Lotus Navratri and keeps trying to make the program a success. Bajpai says, “All our leaders and workers have been engaged in the service for the last fifteen days. We are happy that the twin city comes to play Garba with us. If on the first day there are sea of people then in the next few days you will see much bigger crowd. We are fully prepared to handle them. We have made arrangements for the safety of women and children. There are about 50 female personnel who pay attention to the safety of women and children.
