Up and Down slow lines between Bhayandar and Vasai Road stations will be shut down for the maintenance of track, signalling and overhead equipment as Western Railway (WR) has planned a Jumbo Block for four hours i.e. from 11 am to 3 pm, on Sunday, February, 2.
During these four hours of Jumbo block, all slow line trains will run on fast tracks between Borivali and Vasai Road/Virar stations. Similarly, some suburban services will remain cancelled during the block. The list of the cancelled trains will be available at all stations in the suburban section.
The Western Railway has tweeted about it. Western Railways has announced that the Jumbo Block will be used to repair signals, overhead wires and other mechanisms of the tracks.
A similar Mega Block was also taken place last Sunday. Western Railway has stated that Jumbo Block will take place between these two Bhayandar and Vasai Road stations. However, the railway has requested that if you have any urgency then only travel by train else stay at home on Sunday. Otherwise, you may have to suffer a lot due to the block.
A mega block was also taken place on Central, Harbour and Trans Harbour routes on January 26. A jumbo mega block was taken from Borivali to Ram Mandir station.
Central Railway also has Mega Block
