A speeding biker Jebas Nadar (19) dies after he lost control of his motorcycle and dashed the bike on the footpath of Bhayandar Bridge on Wednesday night. After seeing the cycle coming from the opposite direction, he suddenly applied the front brake of the vehicle, trying to dodge a cyclist. He lost control of the bike and ran over the footpath. The pillion rider suffered minor injuries.
The incident took place around 7.50 pm on Wednesday when Nadar, a student and Sunil Pariyar (19) pillion riding on a Unicorn bike from Bhayandar (west) to Bhayandar (east). Nadar’s father owned a snacks shop in Mira Road where both were heading.
Soon after crossing the bridge to reach Bhayandar (east), a cyclist came in front of their bike and Nadar suddenly applied the front brake to avoid a collision.
