Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) Mira Bhayandar unit celebrated it’s supremo and former Agriculture Minister Sharad Pawar’s 81st birthday by cutting a cake at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Vidyalaya, Mira Road.
Members participated in the various programs organised by the party on the occasion of senior Pawar’s birthday. Information were shared about the schemes run by the government at the national level, state level and municipal level.
Members helped widows in filling the application forms who lost their husbands in the pandemic for pension under the “Sanjay Gandhi Niradhar Pension Yojana”. In a similar way, application forms were filled under the “Shravan Bal Niradhar Yojana” for those children who lost their parents due to Covid-19 pandemic. NCP started it under ‘Supriya Swadhar Abhiyan’, so that they can help the needy get government assistance.
NCP District President Ankush Malusare assured that people who lost their loved ones during the Corona period would be helped in every way to get government financial assistance.
In a two-day program, worker guidance camp was kept at Holy Cross School located near RNP Park, Bhayandar (E), in which Professor Uttamrao Bhagat gave lectures on Mahatma Phule, Shahuji Maharaj, Dr. BR Ambedkar and Sharad Pawar, while the subject of the Constitution was guided by Akshay Ganesh Bhosle.
Advocate Kishore Samant spoke fiercely on the misuse of central machinery and on the farmers’ laws. At the end, Professor Shashikant Maghade addressed the workers on women’s development and important decisions taken by Sharad Pawar and his overall career.

With the huge crowd on the occasion, one can assumes that NCP is reviving in Mira Bhayandar. Once a single largest party in power with party MLA and MP went to zero in the last Municipal Corporation Election.
Talking to the media, Malusare said that considering Saheb’s birthday as a witness, we will once again start the “Karyakarta Jodi” campaign, and will connect all the new and old workers with the party till the coming elections.
On the other hand, State General Secretary Annu Patil said that Sharad Pawar is the biggest contributor to the reservation and empowerment of women. She wished Pawar a long life.
