Coronavirus has been infiltrated in the Mira Bhayandar Municipal Corporation Mayor Jyotsna Hasnale’s house and office. After one member of her staff tested coronavirus positive recently, the Mayor went into self-quarantine and underwent the test. However, Mayor tested negative for Covid-19. Her husband has tested positive. Despite being the subject of a crowd, many found in the mayor’s office without the mask. It has become a topic of discussion in the MBMC.
Mayor Jyotsna Hasnale has self-quarantine herself in her house. Her husband’s report came positive. However, the Mayor’s COVID test shows absent of Conoravirus in her body. “For a precautionary measure, she has quarantine herself for some days,” informed the source.
Earlier, the Mayor’s computer operator was found positive. Therefore, Hasnale and her family members have gone through coronavirus test. People come to meet mayor with the problems in their areas. Therefore, her cabin always seems crowded. Some don’t even wear masks while sitting in her office waiting room. Four employees, including two officers of the Audit Department of the MBMC, have been contracted with coronavirus infection.
On August 13, Hasnale holds ‘Mahasabha’ with the MBMC officials and corporators for passing the budget through the video link. On August 03, the Mayor had attended a programme to e-inaugurate the two Dedicated COVID Care Centres at Mira Road and Bhayandar (East) along with Guardian Minister Eknath Shinde, MP Rajan Vichare, MLA Pratap Sarnaik, MLA Geeta Jain and others.
