The Mira Bhayandar has reported eight new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours including a six-year-old among the new cases, taking the total number of COVID-19 cases to 114 on Wednesday.
In fact, the 55 new cases have been reported in the last five days. The eight positive cases that were reported, including three people from Shiv Sena Galli in which two are females and one 55 years old man. They are the close contact of old positive patients. However, one new COVID-19 patient found from Jesal Park. This is the first patient from the Jesal Park area of Bhayandar. He is 70 years old. Out of eight, three are new patients while five are the close contacts of old positive patients. The only minor found positive on Wednesday is a new corona positive case from Shanti Garden, Sector 3 of Mira Road, which worries the MBMC.
However, a sigh of relief is that today’s new COVID-19 cases count is least among five days figures.
Corona Virus Update
With 50 persons have been identified and quarantine on Wednesday, a total number of quarantined reached to 1337. In which, 383 people had completed 14 days compulsory quarantine period. However, there are still 954 people under the observation of the administration. In which, 561 are under home quarantine and 277 people are in quarantine cell.
There are 103 patients in the isolation ward under MBMC. Eighty-eight are in Pandit Bhimsen Joshi COVID Hospital, two are in Kokilaben Ambani Hospital, one in Seven Hills Hospital whereas two are admitted at Hindu Hriday Samrat Balasaheb Thackeray Trauma Care Center at Jogeshwari. Whereas, 10 patients are in admitted in different hospital of Mumbai, Navi Mumbai and Vasai-Virar area.
Out of total 606 swabs sent for investigation, 114 are positive, 384 results are negative whereas 99 reports are still awaited. However, with some doubt, nine swabs are resent to repeat the test. Two patients died due to COVID-19 and 11 patients are recovered in the area. There are 101 active coronavirus cases in Mira Bhayandar.
